‘Snap-on type’ metal strapping seals are used as an alternative to thread or pusher type seals. The ability to clip the seal onto the strap eliminates the need for pre-threading and speeds up the strapping operation. This 19mm clip is designed to suit 19mm wide steel strapping.
The snap-on seal is placed over the overlapping strap ends either during or after tensioning the metal strapping. A 19mm sealer tool is then used to clamp the metal seal securely around the steel banding, fastening it closed. As any strapping is only as strong as its join, it is important to ensure that your seals are applied correctly to ensure a secure load during the entire transportation process.
These metal clips are available in 13, 16, and 19mm widths to suit different strap sizes and load applications.
