Dangerous Goods Labels are a visual communication tool, providing vital information about the substance and its potential hazards. They play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of
handlers and compliance with regulations.
Class 5.2 organic peroxides are thermally unstable substances that may undergo exothermic self-accelerating decomposition. These chemicals can be explosive, burn rapidly, or react dangerously with other substances. Organic peroxides contain carbon structures linked by a double oxygen bond, making them highly flammable and more prone to ignition than other combustible materials. Examples of these substances include Hydrogen Peroxide, Benzol Peroxide, and Methyl Ethyl Ketone Peroxide.
Labels are used on emergency information panels, shipping containers and bulk storage containers that are stored or transported. These labels act as a first line of defence against accidents and help prevent mishandling, spills, leaks, and other incidents that could cause harm.
The roll of labels is made from PVC tape with a premium grade adhesive, ensuring that they will securely stick to any surface. They also come perforated for easy tearing and dispensing. Each roll contains 500 labels, measuring 100mm x 100mm, and with a 76mm core to fit standard tape dispensers or benchtop label dispensers.
