Open Type Metal strapping seals are made from durable steel and are designed to be used with 15mm wide poly strapping. These clips provide a secure join for strap ends, acting as a clamp holding the poly together. A well-fastened joint is critical to ensure that the strap remains tight and does not loosen or slip off. Â
To securely fasten the clip closed around the strapping, a sealer tool is used, bonding the metal together. This product is known as the ‘open type’ seal, which as the name suggests, has an opening on one side to insert the strap before sealing it closed. Â
