Metal strapping seals are made from durable steel and provide a secure method of fastening strap ends together. These clips are specifically designed to be used with 13mm wide polyester strapping. Each seal has a serrated surface in the inside which gives the seal an extra grip around the strap, to ensure it remains tight and does not loosen or slip off. Strapping is only ever as strong as its join, so it is important your strap is applied correctly to ensure your load is secure during transit. 

‘Open type’ seals have an opening on one side to insert the strap into before fastening it closed. A 13mm PET sealer tool is used to clamp the metal seal securely closed around the PET.  

Polyester strapping can be manually applied with a metal clip, a hand-levered tensioner, and a sealer tool. Otherwise, a PET Sealless Strapping Tool can be used as an all-in-one automated solution which is ideal for fast application and high volume.
