The ‘Snap-on’ range of metal strapping seals is a popular alternative to thread or pusher-type seals. This eliminates the need to pre-threading the clip through the strap, speeding up the operation. These clips are made from heavy-duty grade steel and provide a secure method of fastening strap ends together. Strapping is only as strong as its join, so it is critical that your seals and strap are applied correctly to ensure a secure load during the entire transportation process. Â
These 16mm metal clips are designed to suit 16mm wide steel strapping. The apply these seals, they are placed over the overlapping strap ends either during or after the strapping is tensioned. A 16mm sealer tool then clamps the metal seal around the steel banding, fastening it securely closed. Â
