Yes, manufacturers produce machine wrap in both cast and blown type films.

Manufacturers use blown and cast pallet wrapping films for the same purpose: to secure and contain a load of goods on a pallet. They make blown machine stretch wrap by blowing a bubble tube and then flattening it into rolls. Blown film has a crisscross molecular structure, making it tough, tacky, and noisy because it sticks to both sides. It appears hazy or cloudy.

To make Cast Stretch Wrap, workers turn melted resin into thin layers of film, cool it, and roll it onto cores. Its molecular structure is running in one direction. This allows for stretching of up to 350% when pre-stretched. Cast film is highly clear, and its application is quiet because of the lack of stickiness. Cast films are a lower cost alternative to blown type films.

4.     What containment force is required for the pallet loads are you wrapping?
Different types of pallet loads require different amounts of containment. Using the correct amount of force around the load is important to keep your pallet stable. This will ensure that it is safe and secure. Using too much force can cause damage, while using too little force can lead to a instable load. 
For example, securing a pallet of water bottles and a pallet of paper towels require different amounts of force. Stretch wrapping a pallet of water bottles requires more force compared to securing a pallet of paper towels. The amount of force needed depends on the weight and shape of the items on the pallet. 

5.     What is the distance, time, and environment the pallets are being shipped in?
Your pallet loads may seem secure when they leave your warehouse but what condition do they arrive at their destination? A pallet load undergoes a lot of stress during transit.
A vehicle is always starting, stopping, and vibrating. If you do not wrap the load on the pallet properly, it may become damaged. 

If your pallets are on an open tray truck, the weather conditions, such as rain or extreme heat, may expose them. Protecting your pallet load from potential harm during transportation is important.
